What you pay for, and what you look after
WP Travel Engine is a WordPress plugin. At the time of writing its annual licences cost $12 to $49 a month, billed yearly, and lifetime licences $499 to $2,499, and it takes no fee on bookings. On top of the licence you pay for WordPress hosting, and you or your developer look after updates, backups, security and compatibility between plugins and themes.
Tourtify is hosted for you. The monthly plan includes the website, hosting, SSL, updates and backups, with no fee on bookings. There is nothing to install or patch, and a plugin update can't take your booking page down in peak season.
A booking system, not only a website
WP Travel Engine turns a WordPress site into a travel website with trips, itineraries and booking forms. Tourtify adds the system that runs the business behind it: real-time availability across every channel, deposits and instalments with automatic reminders, a team console with roles, manifests and QR check-in, guides, waivers and traveller details, reports, and email and messaging to travellers.
Moving your trips across
Tourtify imports your WP Travel Engine trips, including itineraries, and sets up redirects from your old addresses so the pages you've built up in search results keep their value. Build and test the new site on its free address before you switch your domain.

Does WP Travel Engine charge a booking fee?
No. You pay for the plugin licence and your own hosting, and there is no fee per booking.
Will I lose my Google rankings if I leave WordPress?
Not if you redirect your old trip addresses to the new pages. Tourtify's importer sets up those redirects for you.
Is Tourtify cheaper than WP Travel Engine?
It depends on how much you sell and on WP Travel Engine's current pricing. Tourtify is a flat monthly price with no fee per booking, so its cost doesn't grow with your sales. Use the calculator on our home page with your own numbers and compare it with WP Travel Engine's pricing.
Can I move my tours from WP Travel Engine?
Yes. Bring your tours across with the importer or set them up in the console, add redirects from your old links, and switch your domain when you're ready. We'll help you plan the move.
Can I keep selling on other channels while I switch from WP Travel Engine?
Yes. Build and test your Tourtify site on its free address first. Resellers can connect through OCTO, and agents get their own links, so nothing stops while you move.
Do I need to sign a long contract?
No. Monthly plans have no long-term contract, and you can export your bookings at any time.
