Cookie policy

Last updated 13 October 2026

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Some features use your browser's local storage instead, which works in a similar way. This page lists what Tourtify uses and why.

This website

This website counts visits with its own first-party analytics, run on our servers. No data is shared with advertising networks.

If you accept analytics cookies, we set tt_vid (a random visitor ID, 13 months) and tt_sid (a random session ID that expires after 30 minutes without activity) to understand which pages are useful and which campaigns bring visitors who sign up. We record the pages you view, the referring site and campaign tags, your browser, device type and country (from our network provider), and clicks on buttons such as "Start free trial". We never store your IP address.

If you decline, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, no analytics cookies are set and only an anonymous page count is kept. Your choice is remembered in tt_consent (6 months). You can change it at any time with .

The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person, not a bot, is sending it. Turnstile processes browser and device signals for that check only.

The console

When you sign in, the console uses cookies that are strictly necessary, plus one preference cookie:

  • tourtify_session: keeps you signed in (the exact name follows the app name) (until you sign out or after a period of inactivity)
  • XSRF-TOKEN: protects forms against cross-site request forgery (same as the session)
  • remember_web_…: keeps you signed in on this device, only if you tick Remember me (until you sign out)
  • sidebar:state: remembers whether the sidebar is open (7 days)

Your light or dark appearance choice is kept in local storage on your device.

Operators' booking websites

Booking websites built with Tourtify use these first-party cookies and storage:

  • consent: remembers whether the traveller accepted or declined optional cookies (about 6 months)
  • currency: remembers the currency a traveller chose, when the operator offers several (1 year)
  • portal_session: keeps a traveller signed in to manage their bookings after they use a sign-in link (30 days)
  • tourtify_ref: credits a booking to the travel agent whose link the traveller followed; set only after the traveller accepts optional cookies (30 days by default, up to 1 year as the operator sets)

The cart is kept in local storage on the traveller's device.

If an operator turns on Google Analytics or Meta Pixel, their cookies (such as _ga and _fbp) are set only after the traveller accepts, and travellers can decline as easily as accept. Embedded videos load their player, and its cookies, only when the traveller presses play. Travellers can change their choice at any time from the Cookie settings link in the site footer.

Managing cookies

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop sign-in and checkout from working.
