Let travellers pay the balance after their deposit in equal scheduled instalments, with reminders, pay links and automatic card charges. Works with deposits.

What you can set up
Instalment plans works out of the box with sensible defaults. These are the choices you can make, straight from your console.
Schedule
- Number of instalments, at most
- The balance after the deposit is split into this many equal payments. Fewer are used when the trip is close.
- Payment dates
- Counting back from departure gives everyone on a trip the same dates.
- Spread evenly from the booking date to the final due dateCounted back from the final due date, one every gap below
- Days between payments
- Spread evenly: payments are never closer together than this. Counted back: the exact gap.
- Final payment due (days before departure)
- 0 = each tour’s own balance due date. A number can only bring the final date earlier, never later.
- Late bookers catch up on missed payments
- When dates are counted back and some have already passed, they’re combined into a first payment due right away. Off: the balance is spread over the remaining dates.
Reminders
- Remind the traveller
- Each reminder has a secure pay link. With automatic charges on, travellers with a card on file get a heads-up instead, and reminders only if the charge fails.

Payments
How payments plugins fit in
Payments in Tourtify always go to your own account with your chosen provider. Stripe is built in, and gateway plugins add the methods travellers use in their country. Deposits, balances and receipts work the same whichever gateway a traveller picks; refunds are sent through the provider where its API allows, or recorded when you make them in its dashboard.

Deposits & balance payments
Take a deposit at booking and collect the balance later: automatic card charges, reminders, retries and personal payment links.
Booking & traveller fees
Add a fee per booking, per traveller or as a percentage, e.g. park permits or a service fee, with amounts per currency. Shown as its own line and included in advertised prices, as consumer law requires.
Invoices & tax receipts

Razorpay
Accept UPI, cards, net banking and wallets from travellers in India, paid into your own Razorpay account. Add a webhook so payments confirm instantly and refunds made in Razorpay show up on your bookings.

Which plans include Instalment plans?
Instalment plans is available on Growth & Scale, at no extra cost.
How do I switch on Instalment plans?
In your Tourtify console, open Plugins, find it in the list and switch it on. Its settings open straight away, and you can switch it off again at any time.
Do I need a developer?
No. Plugins are built into Tourtify and set up from the console. Where an outside account is involved, such as a payment provider, you connect it by entering your account details.
Does Instalment plans work with my other plugins?
Yes. Every plugin is built and maintained by Tourtify, so they work together: discounts, deposits, vouchers and fees all add up correctly at checkout.
