MYOB Business and AccountRight
For operators in Australia and New Zealand, the plugin connects to MYOB Business and AccountRight through MYOB's secure login. You choose the company file to send to, and from then on each confirmed booking arrives as a service invoice with your booking reference.
MYOB needs a tax code on every line and every customer. The plugin uses the GST code you mapped for sales; if none is chosen it falls back to N-T, not reportable, so nothing is rejected and your accountant can see what to correct.
Refunds the MYOB way
MYOB records a credit as a negative invoice. When a booking is refunded, the plugin creates that credit and settles it against the original invoice, then pays the money back out of the account it came into. Your receivables stay clean and the refund shows against the right customer.
Payments are recorded as customer payments in the account for their payment method. Agent commission and crew pay go out as spend money to a supplier card, created once and reused.
Everything else around the booking
Booking fees, gift vouchers, payment links and retail sales at the till can each have their own account. If MYOB rejects a record, the sync page shows why; fix the mapping and press Retry, and the record is sent once.

FAQ
MYOB: questions
Does it work in New Zealand?
Yes. MYOB Business and AccountRight company files in Australia and New Zealand both connect. Map your GST codes for sales.
Can I report profit per tour in MYOB?
The plugin doesn't tag MYOB transactions by tour. Each invoice names the tour and booking, and Tourtify's reports show sales and margin per tour.
Can I send bookings from before I connected?
Yes. Set a start date, then use Catch up: every sale, payment and refund since that date that hasn't reached your books yet is sent in the background, at the pace the accounting system allows. Nothing dated before the start date is sent.
What happens if the connection stops working?
Owners get an email straight away. New records wait in Tourtify, nothing is lost, and everything waiting is sent as soon as someone connects again.
Which plans include MYOB?
MYOB is available on Growth & Scale, at no extra cost.
How do I switch on MYOB?
In your Tourtify console, open Plugins, find it in the list and switch it on. Its settings open straight away, and you can switch it off again at any time.
Do I need a developer?
No. Plugins are built into Tourtify and set up from the console. Where an outside account is involved, such as a payment provider, you connect it by entering your account details.
Does MYOB work with my other plugins?
Yes. Every plugin is built and maintained by Tourtify, so they work together: discounts, deposits, vouchers and fees all add up correctly at checkout.
