Sage Business Cloud Accounting, by country
The plugin connects to Sage Business Cloud Accounting in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Spain, France, Germany, Canada, the United States and South Africa. You sign in with your Sage ID and choose the business to send to; one Tourtify business connects to one Sage business.
Each sale arrives as a sales invoice with your booking reference and the VAT rate you mapped. That matters at quarter end: sales, credit notes and VAT sit in Sage as they happened, ready for your VAT return.
Bank accounts, not ledger accounts
In Sage, money moves through bank accounts, which are their own records rather than lines in the chart of accounts. So when you choose where each payment method's money arrives, the plugin offers your Sage bank accounts: a clearing account for your card provider, a cash account for the office, your business current account for transfers.
Payments are recorded as customer receipts allocated to the invoice. Refunds go as credit notes with the money paid back out. Agent commission and crew pay are recorded as other payments to a supplier, created once and reused.
Fees, vouchers and the till
Booking fees, gift vouchers, payment links and retail sales at the till can each go to their own ledger account. If Sage rejects a record, the sync page shows the reason; fix the mapping and press Retry, and it is sent once.

FAQ
Sage Accounting: questions
Does it work with Sage 50 or Sage 200?
No. It connects to Sage Business Cloud Accounting. With desktop Sage products, download the sales journal as a CSV file from Finance › Accounting in your console and import it there.
Can I report profit per tour in Sage?
The plugin doesn't tag Sage transactions by tour. Each invoice names the tour and booking, and Tourtify's reports show sales and margin per tour.
Can I send bookings from before I connected?
Yes. Set a start date, then use Catch up: every sale, payment and refund since that date that hasn't reached your books yet is sent in the background, at the pace the accounting system allows. Nothing dated before the start date is sent.
What happens if the connection stops working?
Owners get an email straight away. New records wait in Tourtify, nothing is lost, and everything waiting is sent as soon as someone connects again.
Which plans include Sage Accounting?
Sage Accounting is available on Growth & Scale, at no extra cost.
How do I switch on Sage Accounting?
In your Tourtify console, open Plugins, find it in the list and switch it on. Its settings open straight away, and you can switch it off again at any time.
Do I need a developer?
No. Plugins are built into Tourtify and set up from the console. Where an outside account is involved, such as a payment provider, you connect it by entering your account details.
Does Sage Accounting work with my other plugins?
Yes. Every plugin is built and maintained by Tourtify, so they work together: discounts, deposits, vouchers and fees all add up correctly at checkout.
