Finance · Nepal tax invoicing (IRD & CBMS)
IRD-format tax invoices and CBMS sync for Nepal
For businesses registered in Nepal: tax invoices in the Inland Revenue Department format, numbered per Bikram Sambat fiscal year, synced to the Central Billing Monitoring System in real time, with the Sales book and VAT reports.
Overview
Nepal tax invoicing (IRD & CBMS) at a glance
Turn on Nepal tax invoicing in the Invoices plugin and enter your VAT or PAN registration. Every booking and till sale gets an invoice numbered per fiscal year from 1 Shrawan, with Bikram Sambat and Gregorian dates, seller and buyer PAN, amounts in Nepali rupees at the exchange rate used, and the amount in words. Reprints say "Copy of original" with the count.
Invoices are sent to CBMS as they are issued, through a retrying queue that never holds up checkout. Cancellations go through a credit note with a reason, and every record is kept unchanged with an audit trail. The Sales book, VAT summary and materialised view reports download as CSV, Excel or PDF.
