Reviews from travellers who actually travelled
After every trip, travellers are asked for a review by email, text or WhatsApp. You choose which ratings go live automatically, reply publicly and show them on tour pages, on other sites and in Google.
Overview
Verified reviews at a glance
A day after each trip, travellers get a review request email and leave a star rating and review on your website. Each one is marked as a verified booking, so travellers trust what they read.
Choose what goes live automatically, from 4 and 5 stars to only after you approve. Reply publicly, hide reviews without deleting them, and add reviews from Google or Tripadvisor with their source shown.

Why verified reviews carry more weight
Travellers have learned to doubt reviews they cannot trace. A review collected through Tourtify is tied to a booking and marked Verified booking, so the reader knows the writer actually travelled with you.
Search engines apply the same logic. The star ratings Tourtify publishes for Google use verified reviews only. Reviews you import from other sites are shown on your website with their source, but they never count towards those star ratings.
Timing the request
The request goes out a set number of days after the trip ends, one day by default. If the traveller has not reviewed, one reminder follows, five days later by default. You can set the reminder between 1 and 14 days, or turn it off with 0. Travellers can opt out of review requests.
Think about the trip when you choose. For a day tour, the next day is right: the experience is fresh. For a 14-day trek that ends with a long journey home, a few more days may give travellers time to unpack and look through their photos. Request stats show how many requests were sent, opened, clicked and turned into reviews, so you can see whether a change helps.
Choosing a publishing rule
You can publish 5-star reviews automatically, 4 and 5 stars, 3 stars and up, or nothing until you approve it. Anything below your threshold waits in Pending.
Automatic publishing gets fresh reviews on your pages quickly and saves time. Approving everything gives you full control but delays every review, and reviews waiting for days look like neglect to the traveller who wrote them. A sensible middle ground is 4 and 5 stars automatically, with lower ratings read, answered and approved by a person.
For example, a traveller gives three stars and mentions a late pick-up. With the 4-and-up rule, it waits in Pending. You check the booking with View booking, write a public reply explaining what you changed, and publish. A considered reply to a mixed review often tells future travellers more than another five-star one.
Google and Tripadvisor, without gating
Add your Google and Tripadvisor review links (https addresses) and every traveller is offered them alongside your own site, whatever rating they gave. Asking only happy travellers to post publicly is known as review gating and breaks Google's and Tripadvisor's rules, so Tourtify never filters who sees the links.
Bringing existing reviews across
Add a single review with Add review, choosing the source, the reviewer, the rating, the text, the tour or whole business and when they travelled. For many reviews, import a spreadsheet of up to 2,000 rows. Columns such as source, author, rating, title, review, date, tour, link, country and reply are recognised by common names, and the tour can be its name or its web address name. A row already imported is skipped, so uploading the same file twice is safe.
Travellers can add up to five photos to their review. Photos are always moderated, and location data is removed before they are stored. Common mistakes: hiding every critical review, which makes the rest less credible; never replying; and importing reviews against the wrong tour.
Where reviews work for you
Published reviews appear on tour pages and tour cards as stars and a count, on your /reviews page, in the Reviews home page block and in the Review rating footer widget. A review list or badge can also be embedded on another website, such as a partner's page.
Put reviews where travellers decide: on tour pages and next to your calls to action, not only on a separate reviews page that few travellers open.

Can I import reviews from a spreadsheet?
Yes. Upload a CSV of up to 2,000 reviews; rows already imported are skipped, and each review shows its source.
Are traveller photos published straight away?
No. Photos are always moderated, and location data is removed from them.
How many reminders does a traveller get?
One, five days after the request by default. You can change the timing or turn the reminder off.
Do star ratings appear in Google?
Rating data uses verified reviews only, following Google's rules.
Can I send happy travellers to Google or Tripadvisor?
Every traveller is offered your Google and Tripadvisor links whatever their rating. Google and Tripadvisor forbid only asking happy customers, so Tourtify never filters who sees them.
Can I hide a review?
Yes. Hide it from your website without deleting it.
